Living Table: THAWALLS at Navy Pier 2017

The public space is the people as a whole, but what really makes up the people. When we think of living, we think of something with organic properties, but what about the space that surrounds those organic properties, does that feel the effect of the living energy? Cream Co. presents a table that becomes a site, a site where the public is invited to share with each other and to playfully participate in the improvisational creation of intangible pleasures and artworks.  As much a communal laboratory-of-sorts as a cabinet of curiosities, Living Table is a site where one can see ways we see time: the time of plucked petals, the color and scent of this moment, the coming time of a sprouting succulent.
